Car for the Cure

No doubt you have seen the C103 pink car traveling throughout the county each October. C103 asks participants to sign the car in exchange for a cash donation.  This Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising effort has been used in various ways to support Breast Cancer research through the Susan G. Komen fund.

This year C103 is generously donating all the proceeds from the sale of the “pink” car to the ACMF Breast Health fund.  The funds will be used to help patients with high deductibles pay for diagnostic mammograms and breast ultrasounds.  The car, which sold to Tammy & Jimmy Unger at the Gala, will be traveling around to various sites in the county to continue raising funds to support the Breast Health fund.

Breast cancer has affected so many lives in our community and it is likely that you have a connection to someone who has faced breast cancer.  If detected early, it is curable so please help support the ACMF Breast Health fund.  It will save lives!
