Dear ACMF Gala Supporter,
The Adams County Medical Foundation Gala Auction is going virtual! This year, instead of hosting a large formal event, we have made changes in an attempt to protect the safety, health and well being of our guests, staff, and community. Hosting a virtual auction gives us the capability to invite anyone who is interested in participating so please spread the word and share the information with your friends and family. We depend on the Gala auction to support our hospital, our local health care programs and our scholarship program.
To participate and bid on the wonderful auction items, you have several options available:
Live Auction – October 2 from 7 until 9 p.m. (Items will be auctioned in the order listed on the auction sheet. Five items will be auctioned every 30 minutes.)
Option 1 – Stream and Bid on Facebook Live – Adams County Medical Foundation Gala Facebook Page.
Option 2 – View items at the Adams County Fairgrounds from Wednesday, September 30 until October 2. Call on October 2 from 7 – 9 p.m., 937-798-3632 or 937-798-5067 to place your bid during the auction.
Silent Auction – These items will be on display for bidding at the Adams County Fairgrounds. You can place your bid on the bid sheets located by each item or call the above telephone numbers to place a bid. Bidding runs from Wednesday, September 30 from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.; Thursday, October 1 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; and Friday, October 2 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The bidding will end promptly at 4:00 and winning bids will be posted on the Foundation’s Facebook page.
Raffle Items – $25 per playing card/ticket, Call 937-798-3632 to purchase or visit Tony Staggs at State Farm Insurance in West Union. Winners will be announced at the Gala Auction.
- Henry Golden Boy 22LR donated by J. McCoy Lumber Company & Real McCoy Outdoors (playing card)
- Smith & Wesson 9m Shield donated by Wallace Thompson Funeral Homes (raffle ticket)
Your gifts make a difference! Over the past two years, the Foundation purchased property in West Union for the new ACRMC Family Medicine Clinic construction project and bought an orthopedic fracture table to support the new orthopedic robot purchased by the hospital. That is more than $205,000 contributed to ACRMC and doesn’t count the college scholarships, grants, and other projects benefiting the community. It is exciting to see what we can do when we unite together!
If you don’t want to participate in the auctions, please consider making a donation at this time. All money will go to supporting ACRMC, our community health programs and academic scholarships. Donations can be mailed to the Adams County Medical Foundation, P.O. Box 40, Winchester, OH 45697 and are 100 percent tax deductible.
Have fun bidding from the safety and comfort of your home. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Sherry Stout
Executive Director
